Instructions for Sikkens water based Finishes (Top Coat):

Paint finish that needs to be rebuilt from raw wood:

clean surface with clear water
lightly sand with 220 grain sanding paper
prime with Sikkens Rubbol WP 105 in the required pigmentation (MAR...)
drytime: at interior climate conditions (73,4°F) 55 – 60% rel. air humidity.
- Dust dry: approx. 30 minutes
- Sandable : approx. 4-5 hours
- Recoatable :approx. 4-6 hours at interior climate conditions with an air circulation of
  0,5 – 1,0 m/sec (2 – 3 feet /sec)
lightly sand with a 220 grain sanding sponge
2-3 layers of paint with Sikkens Rubbol WF 3310-04-25 semi-gloss in the required pigmentation (MAR....).
lightly sand with 220 grain sanding paper in between each coat of paint
drytime: at interior climate conditions (73,4°F) 55 – 60% rel. air humidity.
- Dust dry : approx. 60 minutes at interior climate conditions (77°F) 55 – 60% rel. air humidity.
- Sandable : approx. 4-5 hours
- Recoatable : approx. 4-5 hours at interior climate conditions with an air circulation of
  0,5 – 1,0 m/sec (2 – 3 feet /sec)

Paint finish on unblemished surfaces:

clean surface with clear water
lightly sand with 220 grain sanding paper
1-2 paints with Sikkens Rubbol WF 3310-04-25 semi-gloss in the required pigmentation (MAR....).
lightly sand in between each coat of paint
drytime: at interior climate conditions (73,4°F) 55 – 60% rel. air humidity.
- Dust dry : approx. 60 minutes at interior climate conditions (77°F) 55 – 60% rel. air humidity.
- Sandable : approx. 4-5 hours
- Recoatable : approx. 4-5 hours at interior climate conditions with an air circulation of
  0,5 – 1,0 m/sec (2 – 3 feet /sec)
